Camphor Chest

We have refinished quite a few camphor chests in 2022 and after seeing ours a lovely customer contacted us to transform hers so she can use it as a toy box for her children.

This chest needed a lot of work - repaired underneath, replaced the missing leg, fixed the top that was sliding out, sanded and primed.
This was refinished using Taubmans water based enamel paint in the colour Cradle White which is a beautiful tone of white and in semi gloss to make those carvings stand out.

The latch was cleaned and painted in a soft rose gold and this chest is absolutely stunning.
